What a time.
Seeing his smile and authentic reaction to the Calgary crowd was like leaving your one light town, going to a far away university, and then returning for the first time to see your friends at the holidays. Raw and inspiring. His pure intake. Such as stories about his sister. A proper dose of artistic background history distilled in common connective threads.
In his own words, he’s from a town of 800 people with no stop lights, first time out of America, a debut album just shy of its first birthday, and here we are Calgary. Wonder blended with positive pressure and intention.
His first tour in Canada is one for those in attendance to keep in mind. In mere months he will open for MGK. His reaction captured with the atmosphere tonight should be bottled. Remember this.
