MGK at the Saddledome in #yyc on Saturday, November 29. What an atmosphere. This new era of MGK is all about spreading positivity and it was such a fun concert to be a part of. The crowd spanned generations and it seemed like nothing but good vibes all around. Aside from him and the band sounding amazing, his Alberta accent bit was hilariously refreshing. It instantly invited the 11,000 strong crowd into a more intimate setting.
The highlight? Shredding through the entire #ticketstomydownfall album was like revisiting a moment in time. A strange, confusing time, but one that gave us this absolutely legendary pop punk gem.
It had been three years since seeing him last in Vancouver. MGK and the band sounded tighter and more polished than ever. The best part; you could see how much fun they were having. Cliché in all the right ways.
